| Kevin B. Mitchell was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised a Catholic. Through the spiritual program of Alcoholics Anonymous he began developing a personal relationship with God in 1993. Kevin counseled recovering alcoholics and began sharing the spiritual message in A.A. as he spoke throughout California. He played a crucial role in a movement to get the A.A. community back to its original spiritual foundation as set forth in the Big Book. God is the basis for this twelve step program that was started with Spiritual principles from the Bible. |  |

In 1996, while attending New Spirit Church, Kevin was saved. Under the leadership of Pastor Mark A. Williams, Kevin served as an Usher and later served on the Finance Committee. In 1998 Kevin had a vision of a man standing between Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X, speaking from a pulpit. Kevin answered his calling to ministry and preached his first sermon in 1999 at Faith Fellowship Bible Church in Corona, California. Kevin is the founder of Renaissance Christian Recovery and Revival Ministry. In 2001 his teaching ministry started with “The Love Walk of Jesus Christ” and he put together a “Spiritual Maintenance Plan” for those who wanted to experience victory in their lives. In 2002 Kevin and others were told they could not take Jesus into the rooms of A.A. or have a Bible teaching study at an Alano Club. He started “The Gathering” as the group setting for the Spiritual Maintenance Plan. It was first held at Fountain Valley Alano Club. Thirteen people were saved at “The Gathering” in a nine month period. Two people were saved in the restroom, after Kevin spoke at an Alcoholics Anonymous Marathon in Long Beach. The Gathering continues to meet in Corona, California. In 2003, New Jack Fellowship E-Mail Ministry was birthed and now has 160 members throughout the United States. This ministry is “A New Way of Fellowshipping with an Old Remedy”. The Christian Recovery and Revival Ministry evolved from a recovery focus into a Bible teaching ministry known as “Renaissance Christian Inreach Ministry”. RCIM is dedicated to serving and ministering to the Christian Community. Another segment of the ministry is “The Renaissance House”, a training camp for spiritual soldiers. Kevin also put together the “Spiritual Soldier’s Decree”, an inspirational writing used as a tool to finance the ministry. The decree was developed and is now available to the general public on this website. Kevin moved to Corona, California in 2005 and The Renaissance Christian Inreach Ministry, RCIM, went public. It was then Kevin accepted the responsibility to shepherd God’s people. Pastor Kevin B. Mitchell continues to grow as he teaches “The Love Walk of Jesus Christ” throughout the Christian Community. God continues to lead Pastor Kevin into new territory. In the Spring of 2006, Pastor Kevin launched a local Radio Ministry which is still in the birthing stages. In carrying out the Love Walk of Jesus Christ Pastor Kevin has instilled “The Spiritual Maintenance Plan” which keeps us close to God on a daily basis. Preparing to go into 2008 Pastor Kevin leads 160 members including e-mail ministry and has touched approximately one thousand souls through the power of the internet in many states. | |
