WHAT WE BELIEVE

 

  1. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God without error in its original       writings. The bible is the complete revelation of God’s will for the salvation of man, the divine and final authority of Christian living.

  1. We believe there is one God, creator of all things, expressed (manifesting) in three ways.
    1. The Father – Isaiah 9:6, Ephesians 4:6
    2. The Son - Matthew 1:21-23. Matthew 3:17
    3. The holy Spirit – John 14:26, Isaiah 48:16

 

  1. Salvation is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ and his shed blood. Those who receive Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and become children of God.

  1. We believe water baptism is a sign of faith after accepting Christ as personal savior. It is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to new life.

  1. We believe the work of the Holy Spirit (the third person of the Godhead) is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. His work is to convict men of sin not condemn men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service.

  1. We believe in living the new commandment given to us by Jesus; “love one another as I have loved you”. John 13:34-35.
